The Carol Ann Amps OD3 amplifier is an extremely low noise, all-tube 50W head. It's got 3 channels and is a 6L6 based design specifically engineered for professional stage applications. Like all Carol-Ann models, this amplifier is hand built using a no compromise approach.

Like the OD2 series, the OD3 is one of the most sonically versatile amps available on the market today. From Country to Metal, the Carol Ann OD-3 can do it all! This new model adds an updated clean channel and more versatility for live applications thanks to it's additional channel.

The Clean channel features a beautiful, percussive attack and some of the warmest tones available. The Overdrive Channels are simply incredible with a harmonic balance that gives the amplifier a three dimensional feel, rarely experienced with any standard design. On Channel B the amount of overdrive is variable from very slight breakup to a heavy rocking rhythm tone. Channel C takes over where Channel B leaves off from a heavy crunch to all out sweetly compressed high gain tone. Note separation and response remain true throughout the full range of gain settings. To add even more versatility the addition of a footswitchable 'Lead Master' allows you to select a different volume control for lead levels. This Lead Master works on either Overdrive Channel.
