It’s just like the original Tweed Champ, but housed in the larger, Deluxe-style solid pine cabinet and fitted with a Jensen P12Q, 12 inch speaker instead of the traditional 8” speaker size. The classic Champ tone is all there – Screaming overdrive at low volumes – But thanks to the 12” speaker it is also much more dynamic and responsive. You can also get rich, sparkling clean tone as well. This amp does not need reverb - there are so many harmonics and overtones you’ll love it just as it is. Did we mention that it’s lightweight too? The speakers are by Tone Tubby. This is one of the most phenomenal sounding amps we have had through in a long time. It’s like a Tweed Marshall Bluesbreaker with Reverb!
