Personally I think this is one of the most successful \"hybrids\" of two retro models. This particular example is a Firemaster II with a pair of hand-wound RCG P-90 pickups. These pickups sound fantastic and are perfect for amplifying the tone of its reclaimed Pine body - courtesy of a 1950’s Ethan Allen table. It is extremely light, lively and resonant. The neck is Mahogany with a Bocote fingerboard. It is large but comfy and has a 1.7” nut width. This guitar is new with full warranty but was a factory demonstration model so it does have a few scuffs and marks on the body. The entire instrument is finished with only a light spritz of Nitrocellulose Lacquer (so the vibe is almost no finish at all). It’s very thin and natural feeling.
