It's an aggressive, yet surprisingly versatile two-channel amp that covers the ground of vintage Marshall Plexi through the various incarnations and hot-rodded \/ modified versions of that amp. Separate \"Plexi\" and \"Hot\" inputs help make this happen. The Plexi input gives Plexi-style gain on channel two and an ultra-clean channel one. The circuit has also been revised and sounds very different from the other Ecstasy 101a and Ecstasy 101b models (Don't worry- you can still get those too). The 20th Annviersary XTC has more depth and dynamics, resulting in a multi-dimensional sound. It's preamp circuit similar to the \"Classic\" mod but has both presence and excursion controls like the regular model. The Structure switch has also been changed to a Modern and Vintage mode for this Anniversary Edition. It features hand-wired construction with two foot-switchable channels as well as a foot switchable FX loop \/ boost. Based on one of the hardest-rocking amps ever made – The classic Marshall Plexi - the Bogner Helios 50 tube amplifier gives up plenty of high-octane tone. It's an aggressive, yet surprisingly versatile two-channel amp that covers the ground of vintage Marshall Plexi through the various incarnations and hot-rodded \/ modified versions of that amp. Separate \"Plexi\" and \"Hot\" inputs help make this happen. The Plexi input gives Plexi-style gain on channel two and an ultra-clean channel one. The “Hot” input gives a hot-rodded high gain structure on channel two, with a \"clean to Plexi\" gain range on channel one. A three-position voicing switch gives access to brighter or darker settings while an EQ Bypass switch sends the preamp tone full-bore to the power amp section for open, in-your-face, boosted tone. The Bogner Shiva's two highly evolved channels are capable of tone ranging from the most shimmering of cleans to a rich, tube saturation that is so powerful it should be illegal in the free world. This EL34 equipped model is 80 watts and has a nice throaty growl with aggressive English-style midrange to punch through the mix. This Shiva also features the Reverb option which is adjustable individually for each channel as well as a Boost that is adjustable on the gain channel and pre-set for the clean channel. These functions are all foot switchable via the included 3-button footswitch. The Bogner Shiva's two highly evolved channels are capable of tone ranging from the most shimmering of cleans to a rich, tube saturation that is so powerful it should be illegal in the free world. This EL34 equipped model is 80 watts and has a nice throaty growl with aggressive English-style midrange to punch through the mix. This Shiva also features the Reverb option which is adjustable individually for each channel as well as a Boost that is adjustable on the gain channel and pre-set for the clean channel. These functions are all foot switchable via the included 3-button footswitch. A tube-buffered, series effects loop is built in as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Shiva Head with Reverb sounds fantastic for nearly any tone imaginable – From sparkly, crystalline cleans to dirty crunch and saturated overdrive – The two channel 80 watt Shiva with EL-34 tubes is an excellent choice.
