If you are familiar with other Top Hat models, this is basically a Club Royale - which has been rated the best in the 2x EL-84 class of amps – with an additional, EF86 based channel for more of that Vox AC15 \/ British-style chime and overdrive. The EF-86 channel is simple and elegant with a single Volume knob and a 2-way Fat\/ Bright switch. The second channel has the same full EQ and Master Volume preamp design as the Club Royale with a 3-position Fat \/ Off \/ Bright switch. A “Cut” knob resides on the back panel.
