The neck is Mahogany and the bridge, tailpiece and fingerboard are Ebony. A beveled arm rest of figured Maple adds comfort and playability to this large bodied guitar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tone is huge with that breathy, undulating bass similar to a Gibson J-200. But it is also refined, clear and articulate. Very “player pleasing” due to the side soundhole directing all that tone right back at you as you play. Having the hole on the side also eliminates traditional problems with soundhole related feedback, making them perfect for live performances and studio recording.
